MJD MOTORSPORTS

MJD Motorsports was founded in 2000 by Mike Dauch. Mike always had a passion for motorsports from a young age. Mike loved riding his dirt bikes so much that at the age of 12 he started to race them. Racing led him to start working on his own bike to fix his own problems. By the age of 17 Mike was racing in the 125 and 250 A pro class of motorcross.

 

In 1998 Mike graduated from Bellevue High School and moved to Daytona Beach, Florida to attend A.M.I. (American Motorcycle Institute) to continue learning his passion. While at A.M.I. he polished his skills and became a certified technician for all Japanese brand motorcycles and P.W.C. (jetskis). Mike graduated with honors from A.M.I. in 1999. After becoming certified Mike moved back to Ohio and worked at a local powersports dealership and decided shortly after to go into business for himself – starting MJD Motorsports out of his own shop.

 

In 2004 MJD added a water test tank to better test the operation of the jet ski and jet boat. This guarantees the machine operating correctly and the problem is fixed. The test tank also lets MJD to fine tune the machine.

 

In 2006 MJD Motorsports under went an expansion. The service area doubled in size and the show room expanded to allow for more in house parts and accessories.
